This past weekend was a much needed break from some back to back crazy busy weekends. It has been so fulfilling to meet new couples, photograph weddings, and build my business, but coming from a full work week to a full work weekend has been an adjustment.  This weekend I got to celebrate one of my best friends, Ashley. We spent her bachelorette weekend in Northern, VA over wine, good food, and friends. On Saturday we went to Stone Tower Winery out in Leesburg and it was the most picturesque, fall day. The tasting was excellent, the views were stunning and the simplicity of sitting under a tree on a beautiful day was so nice.

Ashley is the kind of friend that genuinely cares. We met early on in our freshmen days at Virginia Tech. She was on the track team and also an architecture major which put us in close proximity of each other…a LOT! We practically spent every waking minute together which brought us close, quite quick.  I’m so ready to stand beside her at her wedding in two short weeks! Love ya girl!
