After emailing with Amy for several weeks we finally found the perfect time to gather her family for some photos! The Sunday right after Thanksgiving I had the chance to meet up with the entire Murdock family down in Fort Monroe, VA. Everyone was home for the holiday and they hadn’t taken a family photo together in years! It was the perfect chance to round everybody up and get some photographs before the Christmas season. They brought along the entire crew including the newest member of the family and the star of the show, baby Camden. He is so dang cute. I love any chance I get to photograph a precious baby and it was clear from all the photos of him that I loved photographing this guy!

I love sharing how I know the families or couples I’m photographing because there is always some kind of fun connection or story. I know the Murdock family because of my mom and sister. My sister actually used to sing with Tori, one of Amy’s daughters, in the Girls Ensemble group at Tabb! Every other year the group does a big trip to Disney World where they do several performances in the park. Amy and my mom were chaperones together one year and got to know each other!

I had a great time getting to know all the family and watch them with their new addition, Camden. This little guy will hold everybody’s attention for quite some time! Murdock family, I loved meeting you all officially and photographing your awesome group! Enjoy these photos and Merry Christmas!
