It’s been nearly two years since Clint and Allison first reached out to me about photographing their wedding! They were actually one of the first couples to contact me after I launched my first website. I’ve known Clint since my Tabb High School days when we were both on the SCA board together! It’s been fun re-connecting and getting to know Allison during the time before their wedding. In the past month Clint and Allison graduated med school and are now Dr’s! They also just bought a house and now have a little fur baby named Stella! Their lives have been so busy in the past year and now they are married!!
Since I was back in Yorktown, my Dad was able to second shoot the wedding with me. We always have fun working together and he’s a very reliable member of the Secret Leigh team. haha! (love you Dad)
Every wedding is unique and I love looking back at the day when all is said and done and remembering the stand out moments from the day. Right after the ceremony we spent time photographing all of Clint and Allison’s family and friends that had traveled far for their day. After these photos a special guest made an appearance…little Stella! Clint and Allison’s puppy was brought over to the church for a little reunion with her parents. It was adorable. These photos may just be some of my favorites from the day.
This was my first time shooting at the Ft. Eustis Officer’s club. It was beautiful and right on the water! We did all of the bridal party and bride & groom portraits outside and braved the heat to get the best photos! They were all champs. The humidity definitely seems like it’s here to stay for the summer. This was also my first wedding working with a videographer. It was a great experience and we had fun together all day. I love getting to know other wedding vendors and having someone to work with throughout the day!
Clint and Allison celebrated Allison’s culture with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony as a part of their reception. I love when couples incorporate traditions and details into their wedding that mean so much to them. Enjoy photos from the couple’s lovely day! Congratulations to the Yeamans! I hope you two are LOVING Maui!!
