Justin and Whitney met me for the first time at Manassas Battlefield for their engagement session. I love doing engagement sessions before the wedding because it is often the first time I am meeting my couple! I already knew we were going to hit it off because they both spent some time at Virginia Tech!
In fact, they actually met briefly their freshman year at VT. They didn’t cross paths again until after graduation. One of their mutual friends connected them in NOVA and they went a double date together. Afterwards they ended up getting to know each other better and spent a lot more time together! After nearly 5 years of dating, Justin proposed to Whitney in Miami!
They love traveling and have been to Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Iceland, Australia, Cambodia, Thailand, Hong Kong, France, and Morocco together. On a more regular basis they love catching up on shows together and going to concerts. Justin fits a concert in at least once a month! They LOVE dogs, but don’t have their own yet. However, they manage to steal lots of time with Whitney’s family Maltese, Zeus. Zeus even made a guest appearance at their engagement shoot!
We almost canceled the engagement session before we got there because there was a chance of rain. When we arrived it was super cloudy and drizzling a little bit. About half way through our session the sun came out in full force. We had the most AMAZING golden light. We couldn’t have asked for a better time together! I can’t wait for their wedding in two months at Raspberry Plain Manor!
